GURU SHISHYA PARAMPARA
The Guru Shishya tradition, or Parampara (lineage), denotes a succession of teachers and disciples in Hindustani Shastriya Sangeet. The guru passes his knowledge to his disciples by virtue of the fact that his purified consciousness enters into the selves of his disciples and communicates its particular characteristic. In this process the disciple is made part of the spiritual family (Gharana) - a family which is not only based on blood relations but on people of the same knowledge.
AIM OF SHUROJHANKAR
Shurojhankar Academy aims at providing proper technical as well as professional skills in the fields of Indian Classical Music to its students through the traditional Guru-shishya Parampara method of teaching. Keeping the essence of Parampara intact, and in accordance with our fast paced world, Shurojhankar Academy has been making constant and fruitful upgradation to the Gurukul system.
ONLINE SERVICE
Students are expected to visit their gurus in person for receiving the proper taalim under the guidance of the Guru appointed to him or her. For the time being our Offline services being restricted only in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Our services will soon be available in every state of India and abroad as we aspire to reach out to every interested candidates, so we offer a well Organised methodical and logical process to teach those students keeping the essence of the Gurukul system intact.
